Frequently asked questions

We design, build, migrate and market Shopify stores. In practice that spans three overlapping areas: storefront design and theme development, migration onto Shopify from other platforms, and the marketing and optimisation work that follows once a store is trading.

A full breakdown sits on our services page.

Yes. We are a certified Shopify Premier Partner, which is Shopify's highest partner tier. It is earned through delivery rather than purchased, and it gives us a direct escalation route into Shopify when a project needs it.

Most commonly WooCommerce, Magento and Wix, and we have also moved brands from headless setups back onto native Shopify. The technical migration is usually manageable; the real work is deciding which accumulated complexity is genuinely still needed.

Our migration guide covers the platform-specific traps, and the Gardinex case study walks through a headless-to-native move.

No. We are based in Sweden and a lot of our work is Nordic, but our client work spans Europe and North America. We work in English and Swedish.

Multi-market selling is a particular strength: several of the brands we support run separate storefronts per market, with their own language, currency and campaign calendar.

Yes, across both standard Shopify and Shopify Plus. Whether Plus is worth it depends on whether you have a genuine checkout or B2B requirement that standard Shopify cannot express, and enough volume for the maths to work.

We wrote an honest assessment of that in Is Shopify Plus worth it?

Yes, and it is usually better that way. The most common failure in agency work is a campaign driving traffic to a page nobody optimised, or a store change quietly breaking a tracking setup.

We run lifecycle email and SMS on Klaviyo and Omnisend, plus social and conversion work. See marketing services.

With a conversation about what you are trying to achieve and what is currently in the way, which is not always what it first appears to be. A store that is not converting sometimes needs a checkout fix rather than a redesign.

If a store audit is the honest first step, we will say so rather than proposing a larger project.

Usually, yes. Shopify handles hosting and CDN, so slowness almost always comes from what has been added on top: oversized images, scripts left behind by uninstalled apps, and too many tracking tags.

Our speed optimisation service diagnoses the actual cause and fixes it, rather than chasing a higher score in a testing tool.

Yes. Most of our longer relationships are exactly that: theme development, storefront changes and campaign support that continue as collections and markets change through the year.

You can also buy a single task if you have one specific change you want done properly.

Use the contact form, or email us directly at enquiries@zago.se. Tell us what you are trying to build or where your store is losing people, and we will come back with an honest read on it.
